Charles E. McCoy, age 66 of Troy, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born November 24, 1951 in Mound Bayou, MS to the late James Watson and Christine (Lotts) McCoy.

Charles is survived by his daughter Carlotta McCoy of Desoto, TX; seven brothers: William (Cindy) McCoy of Jacksonville, FL, Watson McCoy of Troy, OH, Terry (Amy) McCoy of Piqua, Keith (Jennifer) McCoy, Sr. of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Wesley (Jewell) McCoy of Troy, OH, Tommy (Mary) McCoy of Ft. Worth, TX, and Sammy McCoy of Peekskill, NY; and four sisters: Gloria (Michael) Coyle of Nobleville, IN, Annie (Murphy) Frazier of Troy, OH, Kelly McCoy of Troy, OH,  and Deborah McCoy of Troy, OH; step-brother Tony (Cynthia) Jones of Malden, MO; and three step-sisters: Margaret (Moses) Collier of Clarkton, MO, Brenda (Joe) Harris of Malden, Mo, and Linda (Clarence) Porter of Chesapeake, VA.

Charles was a US Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Transformed Life Church in Piqua.

A memorial service will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the Transformed Life Church in Piqua with Pastor Brian Hamilton officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
