Cordellia J. (Hewitt) Emerick age 84 of Troy, passed away Saturday, December 2nd, 2017 at Genesis Health Care Center, Troy, Ohio. She was born March 4th, 1933 in Troy to the late Clarence and Fredora.

Cordellia is survived by sons: Andrew C. Emerick (Karen) of Troy, Mark Emerick of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. and Billy Joe (Sharon) Emerick of Troy, daughter-in-law Teri Emerick-Howard and son-in-law Wesley McCoy Sr. of Troy, brother: Dallas Hewitt of Maryland, grandchildren: Chris, Ashia, Alexis, Jantzen, Paige, Andieleigh, BJ, Katrina, Andrew, Alex, Shanda, Wes, Chad, Tylor, Austin, Jordan, Copeland, George, Della, David, Chris, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by daughters: Vickie Jo Hughes and Pastor Jacqueline McCoy, son: David B. Emerick, granddaughter: Maria.  She is also preceded in death by siblings: Daryl, Dan, Don, Dick, Dorothy, and Delmar and dog: Sammy.

Cordellia was employed at the Troy Country Club for over 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and playing cards.  

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00AM Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Miami Valley: 46 N Detroit St # B, Xenia, OH 45385. Interment will be held in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua.
