Donna Fraley Obituary

Donna Marlene Fraley, age 83 of Piqua, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Grandview Hospital, Dayton. She was born April 6, 1934 in Clifton, WV to the late Leonard and Lillian (Nease) Van Meter.

Donna is survived by her husband Willard Dale Fraley, whom she married April 9, 1955; son Stanley Fraley of Piqua; daughter Vicky (Joel) Welbaum of Covington; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and two great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Donna was a 1952 graduate of Pomeroy High School and graduated from Teletype School in Crawfordsville, IN in 1953. She was employed as a teletypist and bookkeeper for Western Union and Garfield Shoes and was Deputy Treasurer for the Miami County Treasury. She was also a member of the Alcony Christian Church., Troy Chapter #256 O.E.S, and VFW Auxiliary #5436, Troy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, OH.
