I sorry that I just found out about John Marks passing. John Mark was my cousin. Our mothers were sisters. The few times I was around John Mark he was always caring and concerned of others.
I hope all is well with his family.
God bless.

John Mark was my favorite cousin on my estranged father’s side. Like me, Mark was LGBTQ, and sustained a lot of mockery and abuse from people and our own family. I am sorry that he has passed. As adults, Mark and I were unable to be close, because my so called father, Mark’s uncle, Bill Porter is such a homophobic bigoted jerk. Mark’s mom, Aunt June, was my favorite aunt and a veritable saint. I’m just sad that my father being such a jerk and shunning me the past 30+ years also put such a distance between me and other family members on his side. My sincerest most profound condolences to Mark’s husband, Matt, and to Mark’s kids. Mark’s sister Debbie and brother Jimmy Wayne should be ashamed of themselves for the way they mistreated Mark as a gay man. I hope Aunt June, John Paul, and John Mark are somehow now reunited and happy on another plane of existence.

My condolences to the family. No one is ever totally prepared for the death of a loved one. When death strikes the pain and feeling of grief can seem unbearable. May you draw close to God in prayer and he will sustain you.-Psalms 55:22

Johnny Mark was my younger cousin! He left this world too soon. I remember how kind and thoughtful he was toward our grandparents. Just the sweetest young boy... gentle without a harsh word for even those who teased him for his very loving nature. Rest in peace, cuz.

I am so sorry for your loss. Job 14:14,15 may offer comfort for your broken hearts. It says, " If a man dies, can he live again? I will wait all the days of my compulsory service until my relief comes.  You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands." My deepest condolences to the family.

So very sorry. I grew up with Mark in Boldman KY. Mark was very caring and passionate as a youngster as well. May God provide you comfort during your time of grief. 6363
