Linda Lynn Swain, age 43 of Troy, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017. She was born July 11, 1973 in Greenville to Jack Lynn Detrick of Troy and Edna Jane (Callahan) Otte of Trotwood.

Along with her parents, Linda is survived by daughter Alexis Marie Swain of Hamilton; son Stephen Quinten Swain of Vandalia; stepfather James Otte of Trotwood; four brothers and sisters-in-law: Robert Alan and Elizabeth Burton of Troy, Jonathan and Carrie Reeves of Piqua, Jack Lynn Detrick, Jr. of Elwood City, PA, and Adien Detrick of Piqua; two twin sisters and brother-in-law: Maggie and Sam Ewing of Elwood City, PA, and Shannon Detrick of Elwood City, PA. She was loved by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as her dogs Sampson and Tank.

Linda was preceded in death by sister Amber Detrick; maternal grandparents Linda and Lester Callahan; and paternal grandparents Stella Young and Beltram Bond Detrick.

Linda was a 1991 graduate of Ross High School in Hamilton. She enjoyed fishing, swimming, and boating.

A funeral service will be held 12PM Friday, April 7, 2017 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. David Ramming officiating. Visitation will be from 11AM-12PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua. Contributions may be given to the family to help defray expenses. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
