Margaret A. Taylor, age 64 of Troy, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born February 4, 1952 in Dayton to the late James S. and Ethel V. (Glover) Blazer.

She is survived by two sons: Martin Blazer of Fairborn, and Jason Taylor of Piqua; significant other David Tims of Troy; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother James E. Blazer of Washington Twp.; and sister and brother-in-law Yvonne and Donald Seibers of Deltona, FL. She is also survived by Terease Schell and Alisha Davis, who were like daughters to her.

She was preceded in death by brother Bernard Sexton, and two sisters: Barbara Duncan and Tola Dean Sexton.

Margaret was a 1970 graduate of Meadowdale High School, and attended Sinclair Community College and the University of Dayton. She was a member of the National Rifle Association. Margaret was a history buff, and loved to travel. She retired from Job and Family Services of Miami County after 20 years of service, and was also an employee at Kroger in Troy.

A funeral service will be held 5PM Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Donna Morton officiating. Visitation will be from 3PM-5PM at the funeral home prior to service. Contributions in her memory may be made to SICSA Pet Adoption Center: 2600 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, OH 45419.
