Melody “Mel” Brown Obituary

Melody K. “Mel” Brown, age 64 of Troy, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 in the Hospice Unit of Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born July 26, 1953 in Troy to the late John K. and Helen V. (Schaeffer) Conard.

Mel is survived by her beloved husband Dennis L. Brown, whom she married September 28, 2000. She is also survived by daughter Nicole Sharits of Troy and grandchildren Cassie Sharits and Timothy Sharits. She was preceded in death by her two sisters: Vickie Davis and Marcia Eyler.

Mel was a 1971 graduate of Troy High School and a member of Troy Eagles Auxiliary #971, VFW Auxiliary #5436, Troy, AmVets Post 88, Troy, and Pocahontas #222, Troy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, OH.
