T Nancy's family, my deepest sympathy. Death always brings sorrow and pain but we can gain a measure of comfort in knowing that Jehovah God knows exactly how you feel because he also lost a loved one in death, his son Jesus Christ. God's sorrow and pain was only temporary because he resurrected his son from the dead and in the bible he holds out that wonderful hope to all those who have lost loved ones in death. At John 11:25 Jesus tells us "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." Yes, we have the hope of seeing our loved ones again in the very near future when Jesus resurrects the dead. The bible also tells us that it will be at a time when "death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." - Revelation 21:3, 4.
