Norma Jean Moore, age 83, of Casstown passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017 at her residence.  She was born July 23, 1933 in Ironton, OH to the late Carl Moses and Edna Marie (Atkins) Jarvis.            

Norma married Raymond Moore on May 19, 1952 and he survives.  She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law: Raymond and Kathy Moore of Casstown; Jeremy Moore of Fletcher; three daughters, Laura Moore of Fletcher; Jacqueline Moore of Covington; Tiffany Moore of Casstown; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Norma is also survived by two brothers and sister-in-law: Carl and Katherine Jarvis of Portsmouth; Herbert Jarvis of West Milton; four sisters and brothers-in-law: Wilma and Randall Wells of Portsmouth; Laura Sisler of North Carolina; Loretta and William Spriggs of Ironton; and Brenda Howard of Portsmouth.

In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by two brothers: Edward Jarvis and Larry Jarvis; and one sister, Betty Jarvis.      

Norma graduated from Ironton High School.  She was a housewife and enjoyed working with ceramics.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. David Ramming officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Feb. 7 at the funeral home prior to the service. Entombment will take place at the mausoleum Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
