Rebecca Miller, age 95 of Troy, formerly of Conover, passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 at Koester Pavilion. She was born November 6, 1921 in Lafollette, TN to the late Ulysses Longmire and Cindy (Hill) Longmire Bourff.

Rebecca is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Victor Miller of Piqua, Kenneth and Gwen Miller of Tipp City, and Gary and Joyce Miller of Fishersville, VA; three daughters and sons-in-law Janell and Eugene Baker of Morgantown, IN, Patty and Steve Mason of Troy, and Debora and Jerry Nation of Sidney; fourteen grandchildren; forty-two great-grandchildren; forty-four great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild.

She married Ulysses Miller on October 22, 1937 and he preceded her in death in July 1991. Also preceding her in death are two granddaughters: Susan Baker and Sarah Nation; three brothers: John Henry Hill, and Gaines and Raymond Longmire; and sister Beatrice Longmire.

Rebecca was a member of four churches throughout her lifetime: Britton Creek Baptist Church in Kenver, KY, Tawawa/Bunker Hill Freewill Baptist Church, Full Gospel Community Church in Sidney, and Miami Valley Christian Center in Troy. She loved to pray and enjoyed quilting.

A funeral service will be held 11:00AM Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with grandson Rev. Eugene Baker, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be 4:00PM-8:00PM Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Shelby Memory Gardens, Sidney. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
