Adele J. Heeter, age 72 of Troy, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Kindred Hospital, Dayton. She was born December 26, 1944 in Denver, CO to the late Cecil and Corinne (Hanna) Butt.

Adele is survived by her husband Robert A. Heeter; two daughters and sons-in-law: Ashlyn and Hamid Bassiri of Philadelphia, PA and Daneille and Frank Vrtar of Dayton; two step sons: Chris (Diane) Heeter of Clayton and Robert A. (Kathryn) Heeter, II of Vandalia; several grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Allen and Sandy Butt of Oklahoma City, OK and Roy and Nancy Butt of Virginia; as well as sister Arlene Creswell of Oklahoma.

Adele was the first female EMT in Randolph Township and was a technician for Dayton Children’s Medical Center. She loved sewing, her pets, and her family.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
