Annalee Beneze, age 92 of Troy, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Piqua Manor. She was born May 21, 1925 in Johnson County, KY to the late Amos L. and Rosabell (Green) Skaggs.
Annalee is survived by her son Fred (Sharon) Justice of Piqua; two daughters: Barbara (Jerry) Dankworth of Bradford and Debbie (Billy) Romine of Piqua; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers: Arthur Skaggs of Bucyrus and Paul Skaggs of Ft. Smith, AR; sister Norma Jean Skaggs Monk of Bucyrus.
She was preceded in death by one grandson; 12 siblings; and niece Sharon Wogoman.
Annalee was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Piqua and the Troy Gospel Tabernacle. She enjoyed sewing and making alterations. She was a former Chaplain at the Okeechobee Correctional Institution and the Boy’s Correctional School in Okeechobee, FL.
A funeral service will be held 1:00PM Monday, April 30, 2018 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with her son Rev. Fred Justice and Pastor Lincoln Robinson officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00AM-1:00PM at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Church of the Nazarene, Piqua. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
