Charles N. McDade, age 84 of Troy, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018. He was born September 19, 1933 in Racine, OH to the late Walter and Edith (Rousch) McDade.
Charles is survived by his wife Marsha K. (Dillow) McDade, whom he married October 23, 1980; five sons: Michael (Mary) McDade of Troy, Rickey (April) Ganger of Troy, Chris (Melanie) McDade of Moraine, C. Edward (Julie) McDade of Columbia, MO, and Charles (Sherry) McDade of Troy; two daughters: Angela (Billy) Brown of Christiansburg and Natalie (Mark) Gallagher of Troy; grandchildren Megan (Daniel), Hilleary (Kevin), Eric, Kelsee, Brooklynn, Amber, and many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as very special friends Charlene Stafford, David Ross, and Bob Hill.
Charles was a 1953 graduate of Troy High School and was a member of the Redmen Lodge #222, and former member of the Moose and Troy Eagles #971. He retired from General Motors after 36 years of service as a job setter. Charles loved his family and was the best grandpa. He enjoyed playing cards, bowling, fishing, golf, and was an avid NASCAR fan.
