Fran Rademachir Obituary

Fran M. Rademachir, age 88 of Troy, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018 in the Hospice Unit of Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born January 28, 1930 in Shelby County to the late Charles F. and Ethel F. (Murphy) Moler.


Fran is survived by her three sons: Bill Rademachir of Troy, Brad (Deanna) Rademachir of Austin, TX, and Bruce (Lori) Rademachir of Troy; daughter Brenda Rademachir of Troy; as well as 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband Hugh A. Rademachir, who passed away March 24, 2012; three brothers: Dick, Dale, and Floyd Moler; two sisters: Wilma Creamer and Polly Butler; as well as sister-in-law Margaret Moler.


Fran was a 1948 graduate of Troy High School and a member of the Bee Cave Baptist Church in Austin, TX. She was an active bowler and basketball and softball player. She was even the first woman to hit a homerun into the Miami River in Troy. Fran retired as a secretary/bookkeeper from Moler Electric in Troy, then moved to Port Orange, FL for 18 years before returning to Ohio. 


A Celebration of Life will be held 7:00PM Friday, August 31, 2018 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Minister Ralph Royse officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00PM-7:00PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
