Sandra Sue Bloomfield, age 67 of Covington, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019. She was born October 27, 1951 in Troy to the late Leonard “Mick” Robbins and Emma Myrtle (Foutz) Robbins.
Sandra is survived by her daughters Jennifer Hughes of Covington and Sara Soto-García (Ricardo) of Piqua; grandchildren Carl Lankford (Wyntr), Adryanna Soto-Sowers (Tristin), Alex Soto-García, Emma Soto-García, Elahmarie Soto-García, Izrael Soto-García, Ivangelina Soto-García, and Rikilynn Soto-García, as well as many other grandchildren; one great-granddaughter Scarlett Grae and one great-granddaughter on the way- “Baby E”; stepsons James Bloomfield (Tammy), Ed Bloomfield (Beth), and Scott Bloomfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Edward Bloomfield, as well as four brothers and one sister.
Sandra received her Associates Degree in Social Work from Edison Community College. She loved spending time with her grandchildren making crafts. She was a wild, fun, loving, outspoken woman. She loved to create pretty things, and while her exterior seemed tougher than nails, if you walked into her home, you’d find roses and pretty pink things all around. She will always be loved and always remembered.
A private graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
