Sara R Cantrell, age 54, of Tipp City passed into the arms of the Lord at home on August 12, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 7, 1962 in Brighton, Massachusetts and lived most of her life in Tipp City, Ohio.

She is survived by her mother, Faith Krum of Tipp City; a brother, Jonathan Richards of Tampa, FL; beloved step-sons, Daniel Cantrell of Tipp City and Derrick Cantrell of Huber Heights and his wife, Jasmine and their children Garrison and Liam Cantrell; Scott Cantrell; step-sister Stephanie Child of Harvard, MA and her husband, Stephen; step-brother Todd Merrill of Andover, MA and his wife, Debra; step-sister Jan Merrill and her husband Gary Bond of Rocklin, CA; stepsister Elaine Losey and her husband Robert of Hawi, HI and step-brother Christopher Merrill and his wife Lynne of Renton, WA.  She also leaves special friend Tracey Brelje and her sons Killian and Noah. She will be missed by many friends and co-workers at M & S Flooring. She also leaves her two rescue cats, Felix and Oscar.  

She was preceded in death by her beloved step-father, Harry A Krum.

She graduated High School from The Northwest School in Seattle WA and then attended Bennington College in Bennington VT. She loved her position as a Project Manager for M & S Flooring in Franklin OH and was highly regarded by her co-workers and customers for her outstanding teamwork, project management and customer service skills. She attended Ginghamsburg Church and loved the Lord. Sara’s artistic flare was evident in her creative beading, silk screening, crocheting and pottery.

A Celebration of Sara’s Life will be held at the Tipp City Roundhouse at the city park on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 12 to 2 PM.

Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society or Hospice.
