Aloysius Joseph Thobe, Jr., age 80, passed away at his residence in Piqua on Friday, October 31, 2025. He was born June 21, 1945, in Troy, OH, to the late Aloysius Joseph Thobe, Sr and Volunta (Steinmann)Thobe.

Along with his parents, Aloysius was predeceased by his siblings, Robert Thobe, Michael Thobe, Margaret Evans, Dennis Thobe, and brother-in-law, Michael Gibson.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his wife Linda; his daughter, Denise Kay (Glen) McClelland of Piqua, OH; his grandchildren, Zachary (Jackie) Kessler of West Jefferson, OH, Emily Kay Kessler and Amanda Cheyenne (Brandon) Hamilton of Piqua, OH; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Noah, Ezra and Randy Kessler as well as his siblings; Ann (James) Beyke, Mary (David) Shock, Cindy (Mark) Wright, Caroline (Steve) Wilson, Nancy (Daniel) Jones, Joann Gibson, Thomas (Jeanine) Thobe, Joseph (Traci) Thobe, and Julie (Joe) Cogliano.

Aloysius graduated from Troy High School and retired from AO Smith in Tipp City, OH. He loved fixing cars, hunting, riding his motorcycle. He took great pride in his yard and home. He was a great handyman and could fix anything.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, at 1PM at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, with visitation from 12:00P-1:00P with Pastor Michael Calhoun officiating. Intermet will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH
