Alyce M. Alexander, age 83 of Troy, OH, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022, at her home. She was born on March,13, 1939 in Troy to Eugene F. and Wreatha (Shellenbarger) Dearth.

She was preceded in death by her son, Craig M. Alexander, and three brothers, George Dearth, Jerry Dearth, and Paul Dearth.

Those left to cherish Alyce's memory include her husband of 63 years, Harold Alexander, daughters Susan (Alexander) and David Spiers of Troy, Stacey (Alexander) and Brent Cole of Muncie, IN, and daughter-in-law Annette Alexander of Sidney, OH.  Brothers Carl and Susan Dearth of Indianapolis, IN, Ray and Lilly Dearth of Indianapolis, IN, Sister-in-laws Diane Dearth of Indianapolis, IN., Dora Jane Alexander of Troy, OH, and Linda (Gary) Ross of PA as well as six grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Alyce graduated from Troy High School in 1957. She retired from CVS pharmacy in Troy. She was a member of Troy Church of the Brethern and sang in the choir for many years, she loved traveling and was active in scouting, and served as a room mother at the school. Alyce was very much loved by her family and friends and will be missed.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 30 at 12PM at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home in Troy with Pastor John Keller officiating. Visitation will be held from 11a-12 pm at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of Miami County is preferred. The families special thanks to Liza and Bethany of Hospice for their caring service.
