April Renee Hammaker, age 45 of Troy, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at her residence. She was born February 8, 1979 in Troy to Kenny and Gina Brady of Arcanum.

April was preceded in death by her sister Amber Brady-Dispennette.

Along with her parents, those left to cherish April's memory include her husband Mike Hammaker; daughter Sasha (Bobby) Canup of Huber Heights; son Dominick Hull; grandchildren Benjamin, Madison, and Peyton; nephew Landon Brady; as well as mother-in-law and friend Robin Foshee of Greenville. April was loved in the Troy community and is also survived by many close friends.

April graduated from Arcanum High School. She was a staple at Meijer in Troy, working there for 9 years as a service coordinator. Her hobbies included crafting and painting, and she also loved walking her dog, Kia. April had a beautiful soul and a heart dedicated to her family who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 5:00-6:00 PM at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
