Audrey Fern Kentner, 99, of Troy, passed away 12:05 p.m. Friday, December 05, 2014 at Brookdale Place of Englewood. She was born in Jacksonville, Ohio on January 23, 1915 to the late James E. and Laura (Withem) Collins. She grew up in Athens County and moved to Miamisburg in 1931 and later moved to Troy in 1951. She was married to Sheldon Lang and he preceded her in death in 1945. She later was married to S. Victor Kentner and he passed away on October 18, 1975.
Audrey is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Byron and Sue Kentner of Dayton; four grandchildren, Shelly (Jerry) Hanahan of New Carlisle, Derek Rike of Piqua, Ryan (Deanna) Rike of Troy, and Samantha (Justin) Mundhenk of Tipp City; and six great grandchildren, Lauren (Ryan) Milligan of Waynesville, Carlie Hanahan of New Carlisle, Mason Rike of Troy, Miranda Rike of Troy, Riley Rike of Piqua, and Connor Rike of Piqua. She was also preceded in death by one son, Ron Lang; one daughter, Connie Rike; one brother, James "Toby" Collins; and one sister, Clelline Barr.
Audrey was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Troy.
A visitation service will be from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 8, 2014 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. A funeral service for the family will be held on Tuesday with Rev. Dr. Richard Culp officiating with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Contributions may be given in her memory to: First Presbyterian Church, 205 S.
