B. Anne Cox, age 89 of Troy, passed away Monday, February 6, 2023 at Troy Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 30, 1933 in Piqua to the late John and Grace Hammond.

Anne married Edward L. Cox on April 28, 1954 and he preceded her in death on June 26, 2014.

Those left to cherish Anne's memory include her daughters Carla Mercer (Ted) of Troy and Amy Voris of Trotwood; son Edward Dan Cox of Simpsonville, SC; four grandchildren: Emily Campbell (Ryan), Troy Mercer (Mallory), Edward "Danny" Cox, Jr., and Dylan Cox, and five great-grandchildren: Trenton Mercer, Thompson Mercer, Tessa Mercer, Caden Campbell, and Harper Campbell.

Anne was a graduate of Piqua High School and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Troy. She retired as a secretary from Miami County Schools.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the City of Troy Beautification Committee, 100 S. Market St. Troy, OH 45373. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
