Barbara Jane Johnson, 66, of Brookville, passed away 11:18 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton. She was born in Urbana on September 28, 1948 to Paul H. and Ruby M. (Baker) Johnson.

Barbara is survived by her mother, Ruby M. Johnson of Brookville; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald Johnson of Trotwood, William and Grace Johnson of El Paso, TX, Paul and Sharon Johnson of Greenville, and Henry Johnson of Fairborn, Jerry and Sunny Johnson of Brookville. She was preceded in death by her father Paul H. Johnson, and her sister Katherine Johnson.

Barbara was a member of First Church of Nazarene in Dayton. She was a 1966 graduate of Northmont High School. She worked at Rikes, Shopsmith and later worked for the Reservation Dept. at Headquarters for U.S. Air where she retired. After her retirement, she went to work for Orchard Cellmark.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015 at First Church of Nazarene, 7031 N. Main St., Dayton, Ohio, with Rev. Stanley Ward officiating. Contributions may be given in Barbara's memory to First Church of Nazarene, Dayton. Arrangements are entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
