Ben V. Richi, age 98 of Troy, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2026 at his residence. He was born July 10, 1928 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Giacomo Chicchirichi and Josephine (Buzzelli) Chicchirichi.

Ben was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy (Bleil) Richi on February 20, 2013, as well as sister Rose Quinlen.

Those left to cherish Ben’s memory include his daughter Jennifer Richardson (Robert) of Tipp City; son John Richi (Patricia) of Florida; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren; as well as sister Philomena Karl (Robert).

Ben was a graduate of Peabody High School in Pittsburgh and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh with 2 years of post-graduate studies. He retired as a general manager from IMC in New Hampshire.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
