Bette Sue Cross, age 92 of Troy, OH passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Troy Care Center. She was born February 3, 1925 in New Castle, IN to the late Wesley N. and Elizabeth (Weisse) Garr.

Bette is survived by daughters Sandra Crawford of Glenwood, IN and Beth (Gary) Evans of Troy, OH, as well as two grandsons.

She was preceded in death by husband Denver Cross in 1980, as well as daughter Sherrie Davis, who passed away December 30, 2011, one brother and one sister.

Bette was a 1943 graduate of New Castle High School and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy, OH. She retired in 1985 from Hobart Corp. in Troy, OH where she worked as a motor winder. She was a member of the Hobart Quarter Century Club and the prayer group at St. Patrick Church.

Interment will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at St. Anne Catholic Cemetery, New Castle, IN. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, OH.
