Betty Ellen Hayes, age 94 of Troy, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024 at the Hospice of Miami County inpatient facility, Troy. She was born January 14, 1930 in Parsons, WV to the late Jacob L. and Clara Bell (Rhodes) Kimble.

Betty was preceded in death by her daughter Jacqueline Ellen Hayes as well as nine siblings.

Those left to cherish Betty's memory include her daughters Charlotte (Roger) Hall of Troy, Wilma (Jesse) Wilson of Austintown, OH, Regina Kay of Noblesville, IN, and Serina (Chris) Rankin of Greenfield, IN; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Betty was a dedicated member of Troy Baptist Church. She spent her time bird watching and doing puzzles. She loved her game shows as well. Her favorites were Wheel of Fortune, Family Feud, and Price is Right.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
