Betty C. Shoup, age 87 of Troy, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Troy Care Center. She was born March 18, 1931 in Urbana to the late Forrest and Florence (Fisher) Critzer.

Betty is survived by her husband Marvin A. Shoup, who she married November 17, 1949; daughter Rebecca Wulber (Ronald) of Versailles; five grandchildren: Rachel L. James (Nathan) of Covington, Russell L. Wulber (Josie) of Yorkshire, John A. Shoup of Westport, CT, Annie Shoup of Westport, CT, and April Hoying (Dan) of Russia; three great-grandchildren: Luke Ryan Wulber, Aubrey Grace Hoying, and Nora Elizabeth Hoying, and one on the way; daughter-in-law Elizabeth Shoup of Westport, CT;  and sister Jacqueline Leonard (James) of Piqua.

She was preceded in death by son Andrew B. Shoup on February 7, 2016; grandson Ryan Luke Wulber on August 23, 2010; brother Fritz Critzer; and sister Diana Varney.

Betty worked as a real estate agent for 25 years throughout Miami County.

A funeral service will be held 3:00PM Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Gilbert Welbaum officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00PM-3:00PM at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will be at a later date in Riverside Cemetery, Tr oy.
