Brittany F. Baskin, 25, of Trotwood, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Troy on April 28, 1989 to Brett Baskin and Angela Godsey. She was married to Raymond King and he survives.

Brittany is survived by her mother and step father, Angela (Godsey) Diallo and Ibrahima Diallo of Springfield; her father, Brett Baskin of Clearwater, FL; five children, Yon'cea King, Ya'vonta King, Raymond King, Jr., Rayvion King, and Branice Baskin all of Trotwood at home; three brothers, Isaiah Baskin of Urbana, B'ante Baskin of Dayton, and Tremayne Baskin of Dayton; six sisters and brother-in-law, Cierra and Steven Brown of Springfield, Angel Godsey of Springfield, Terika Baskin of Springfield, Djuana Baskin of Clearwater, FL, Jasmine Baskin of Springfield, and Chree Riggins of Clearwater, FL; also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Maymie Godsey; and her aunt, Gwendolyn Jefferson.

Brittany was a graduate of Job Corp in Michigan. She worked as a daycare provider.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2015 at the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, 1625 N. Co. Rd. 25A, Troy, Ohio with Bishop Charles Carnes officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church Monday prior to the service.  Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Contributions may be given in her memory to the family for their expenses. Arrangements are entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
