Bruce Allen Dysinger, 64, of Troy, passed away 2:25 a.m. Saturday, July 5, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Piqua on November 24, 1949 to the late Heber Dysinger and Ida Margadene (Fullerton) Brinkman. He was married to Marna Jo Elleman, and she preceded him in death on April 19, 2014.
Bruce is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Katie Marie Dysinger of Dayton, Christine Nicole and Will Sanders of Laura, Carrie Ann and Bryan Rumple of Dayton; one step-daughter, Saira Rochell Denson of Piqua; one step-son, Ethan Dallas Denson of Piqua; and one brother and sister-in-law, Monty and Betty Dysinger of Covington, and their three sons, Wally, Andy, and Jason Dysinger. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Darrell Brinkman; and his brother, Terry Dysinger.
Bruce was a Navy Veteran of Vietnam. He was retired from PMI Food Equipment Group after 25 years of service. He was a member of AMVETS Post #88 in Troy, VFW Post #5436 of Troy, and the Troy Fish and Game Club. For his hobbies, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Bob Bell officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service. An Honor Guard Service by the Veterans Memorial Honor Guard of Troy will be held following the service.
