Bruce Errol "Scrubby" Wells, age 71 of Troy, passed away Wednesday, April 1 2020 at Kettering Health Network-Troy Hospital. He was born November 22, 1948 in Piqua to the late William and Charlotte (Olden) Wells.

Bruce is survived by his daughters Kimberly Wells of Troy and Chelsey Johnson of Dayton, girlfriend Sharon Bolden of Troy, grandsons Kasin Wells and Kyran Wells and great-granddaughters Adrianna and Emery, brothers Anthony Wells of Piqua and Mark Thomas of Indianapolis, IN, sisters Tonie Warner of Georgia, Willa Mae Wells of Piqua, Victoria Sullivan of Maryland, Tanya Meech of Cleveland and Diana Wells of West Milton.

He was preceded in death by brother Morrison Wells and sisters Peggy Lee, Constance Hall, and Cheryl Wells.

Bruce was a US Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Transformed Life Church in Piqua. Bruce was everyone's Uber driver and was always willing to help whenever he could.

A graveside memorial service will be held 11AM Friday, April 24, 2020 in Riverside Cemetery, Troy with Pastor Brian Hamilton officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the Veteran's Memorial Honor Guard of Troy.
