Carl Adams, age 78 of Troy, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Troy Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was born August 16, 1947 in Troy to the late Harrison and Altie (Jackson) Adams.

He was preceded in death by his seven brothers: William, Ernest, James, Bob, Richard, Raymond, and Franklin Adams and three sisters: Opal Adams, Flora Craft, and Cora Horner.

Those left to cherish Carl's memory include his wife Bonita (Fergerson) Adams of Troy; daughters Michelle Valentine (Johnnie) of Sidney and Jessie McSparran (Glen) of Laura; son Michael "Mike" Adams of Troy; sisters Lora Larck of Tipp City and Florence Kennedy of Troy; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Carl was a proud US Army veteran of the Vietnam Era. He cherished his reunions with his "Big Bad Bravo" squadron each year. Carl was proud of his country and very patriotic- you'd never see him out without his Vietnam Veteran hat! He was a graduate of Graham High School and retired with Hobart Brothers (ITW) in Troy. Carl was a skilled woodworker. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing the guitar and cheering on his Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds.

A funeral service will be held 12:00PM Friday, October 3, 2025 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. Will Jones with the Englewood Assembly of God officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00AM-12:00PM at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
