Charlette Francine Slack, age 53 of Troy, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. She was born October 5, 1968 in Troy to the late Charles and Edith "Jerry" (Weaver) Gillis.

Those left to cherish Charlette's memory include her husband Micheal Slack, Sr. whom she married August 28, 1987; daughter Ashley Edgerly of Troy and son Dustin Slack of Troy; four grandchildren: Joey Brower, Zoe "Alex" Taylor, Edith Brower, and Jensen Slack; seven siblings: Susan Raymond, Paul Kessler (Lee), Betty Patterson, Mike Gillis, Dawn Lehman (Fred), Harriettea Gillis, and Evelyn Shellhaas (Alex).

Charlette enjoyed collecting gemstones and anything elephant related. She was a horror genre enthusiast and loved all things spooky – of course Halloween was her favorite holiday! She worked for many years as a waitress for Friendly's and Waffle House in Troy.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00PM-6:00PM Sunday, May 29, 2022 on the third floor of the Redmen Lodge 222: 103 E. Main St. Troy, OH 45373
