Charlie Lee Miller, age 63 of Troy, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024 at his residence after a long cancer battle. He was born July 18, 1961 in Tunica, MS to Bobby Lee and Leola (Kinnel) Miller.

Charlie was preceded in death by his father Bobby Lee Miller and maternal grandparents Willie Lee and Carutha Kinnel.

Those left to cherish Charlie's memory include his wife Teresa (Adkins) Miller; his mother Leola Miller of Jackson, MI; children Ashley Sullenberger (Tyler) of Minster, Heather Sullenberger of Piqua, Lacey Berry (Steven) of Piqua, and Dustin Sullenberger of Columbus; sister Troycie Miller (Michael Oliver) of Jackson, MI and brother Eddie Kinnel (Theira) of Tunica, MS; grandchildren Allie Partin, Steven Berry, Jr., Nevaeh Berry, Natin Partin, Weston Partin, Eli Sullenberger, and Ethan Sullenberger; as well as nieces and nephews Malik and Micah Oliver, Ericka and Eric Kinnel, and Michael Taylor (Brittney) and great nephew and great niece Jaylon and Ce'Leigha; as well as numerous other extended family and friends including mother-in-law Janet Miller.

Charlie attended Michigan High School and received his GED. He worked for many years at NKP Parts, F&P America and Clopay in Troy. He enjoyed playing games on his phone and loved football, dancing, and music. He was also an avid Monopoly player.  In the summertime, you could find Charlie grilling outside and spending time with his family. He especially loved keeping the grandkids overnight and cherished the time with them, as well as with his extended family at reunions. Charlie cherished 18 wonderful years with the love of his life Teresa, they were a true love story.

A celebration of life will be held 4:00PM Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Brian Hamilton officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00PM-4:00PM prior to the service. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
