Cheryl L. "Sheri" Weber, age 81 of Tipp City, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at the Hospice of Miami County inpatient facility in Troy. She was born June 18, 1944 in Oneida, TN to the late Vestle and Veda (Clouse) Sewell.

Along with her parents, Sheri was preceded in death by her granddaughter Courtney Marie Emrick Gardner on April 7, 2024, as well as sisters Caron Derr and Veronica Miller.

Those left to cherish Sheri's memory include her son Scott (Christine) Gates of Troy, daughter Holly Emrick of Troy; Sheri's companion of over 35 years Jim Rogers; grandchildren Joshua Gates, Joseph (Laura) Gates, Tyler Gates, and Adam Gates, Justin Emrick, and Brittany (Chris) Lowry, great grandchildren Hailey and Autumn Gates, Landon Emrick, Aubree, Rylee, and Adylee Gardner, Harper and Meadow Hall, and River and Delta Lowry; sister Genoa (Alex) Lobeto of Parrish, FL, and brothers Rodney (Jay) Sewell of Newark, OH and Gary (Marilyn) Sewell of Woodstock, GA.

Sheri was a graduate of Milton Union High School. Sheri worked for over 25 years at the former Paddy's Restaurant in Tipp City and was known by her friends and customers for her exceptional customer service. She kept her mind sharp by doing puzzles and she enjoyed making candles for her friends and family. She relished the time spent on her back porch admiring nature. Her favorite moments were spent with those she loved, and she cherished the time spent with her family.

A memorial service will be held 11:00AM on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at the Riverside Cemetery Chapel, Troy. Visitation will be from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the chapel. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
