Corey Allen Talmadge, Sr. age 41 of Troy, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Kettering Health Network-Troy Hospital. He was born September 30, 1977 in Troy to Eric Talmadge of Neodesha, KS and Denise Wright Evans of Troy.

Along with his parents, Corey is survived by his wife Brandy (VanZant) Talmadge of Troy; children Corey Talmadge, Jr., Quincy Talmadge and Candice Talmadge of Columbus and their mother Erica Cain; children Noah and Eli Talmadge of Celina and their mother Sheri Talmadge; brothers Jeremy and Jonathan Evans of Troy and Josiah Talmadge of Neodesha, KS; stepbrother Lewis Jones of Dayton; sisters Samantha Talmadge of St. Louis and Erica Peppers of St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by special friends Willard and Joel Higgins and stepfather Johnny H. Evans.

Corey was a graduate of Troy High School. He loved to fish and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was also a diehard Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Cavaliers fan.

A funeral service will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
