Craig M. Alexander, age 55 of Sidney, formerly of Troy, passed away Wednesday December 30, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Troy, Ohio on May 14,1960 to Harold and Alyce (Dearth) Alexander, who reside in Troy.
He is survived by his beloved wife Annette (Oakley) Alexander, daughter Megan Nicole Alexander of Troy, son and daughter-in-law Adam and Chelsea Alexander of St. Robert, Missouri, stepson and stepdaughter-in-law Michael and Sandy Mason of Van Nuys, California, stepdaughter Jennifer Mason of New Port Beach, California, as well as two sisters and brothers-in-law Susan and Dave Spiers of Troy, and Stacy and Brent Cole of Muncie, Indiana.
Craig was a 1979 graduate of Troy High School, and trained as a machinist at JVS in Piqua. He worked as a machinist with NKP in Sidney and East Liberty. He also worked for the Wal-Mart in Piqua for 10 years in the sporting goods and paint departments. Craig was a member of the Shelby Deer Hunters, Varmint Hunters Association, and former member of Troy Fish and Game Club. He enjoyed shooting, hunting, reloading ammunition, and fishing. He was a former member of Troy Church of the Brethren.
A funeral service will be held 11AM Monday January 4, 2016 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home 1124 W. Main St., Troy, with Rev. Jon Keller officiating. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Sunday January 3, 2016 from 2PM-4PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney. Interment Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
