Cynthia "Cindi" Cooper, age 60 of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek, OH. She was born on February 22, 1961 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Frank and Martha (neé Stone) Cooper.

Those left to cherish the memory of Cindi include her loving husband David Powers, whom she married on August 19, 1989; her daughter Colleen Cooper Powers of Cleveland, OH; brother Bud (Chris) Cooper of Lancaster, PA; sisters Mary Lynn (Phil) Mellinger of Ellicott City, MD and Evie Cooper of Reinholds, PA.

Cindi graduated from Kutztown University in Reading, PA where she received her Bachelor's degree. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, bird watching, cats and loved more than anything spending time with her family and being a mom to Colleen. Cindi belonged to the local P.E.O. chapter and enjoyed working for many years as a receptionist at Broadway Hair Studio in Tipp City, OH.

A celebration of life will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. David Ramming officiating. A visitation will be held prior from 2-3 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Ross Heart Hospital at Ohio State Medical Center, Columbus. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio.
