Daniel Edward Daugherty, age 59 of Troy, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. He was born October 21, 1958 in Troy to Floy Arnold Daugherty and Alice Mary (Bowers) Daugherty, who resides in Troy.

Along with his mother, Daniel is survived by his loving wife Rhonda (Jackson) Daugherty, whom he married on February 14, 2014; daughters Danielle Daugherty and Heather Daugherty, both of Troy; stepdaughters Kristi of Tipp City, Courtney of Englewood, and Chelsee of Vandalia; grandchildren Tailyn, Riley, and Dane; step grandchildren Austin, Rylan, Jayden, and Kale; brother Dennis Daugherty of Troy; his aunt Connie and uncle Ralph of Troy; in-laws JoAnn (Tom) Ray of Springboro and Ronald (Donna) Jackson of Rocky Fork Lake; sister-in-law Stephanie Moody of Springboro; nephew Brandon Johnson; his special fur-baby Emma; and numerous friends.

Daniel had worked for Sew-Eurodrive in Troy for 37 years and was a member of the Redmen Lodge #222 in Troy and Haymakers #222 ½ in Troy. He loved to spend time entertaining with his family and many friends and loved to fish.
