Daniel Lee Dever, age 68 of Troy, passed away 4:18AM Monday, September 15, 2025 at his residence. He was born December 16, 1956 in Troy to the late Forrest and Augusta (Hannah) Dever.

Along with his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his son Carl Bryant and sister Brenda Spriggs.

Those left to cherish Daniel's memory include his wife Dorena (Anders) Dever; children Paul (Melissa) Bryant of Troy, Kim (Roger) Haney of Fairfield, CT, Charley (Christy) Bryant of Troy, and Danielle (Dan) Szklany of Troy; siblings Robert (Sue) Dever of Troy, Rick (Erica) Dever of Troy, and Jim Dever of Troy; grandchildren AJ (Allie) Bryant, Kent (Kaila) Bryant, Alexis Bryant, Jake Haney, Ellie Haney, and Logan Bryant; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews and extended family.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
