Daniel "Jeff" Weaver, 77, of Troy, passed away 6:13 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at his sister's residence. He was born in Pleasant Hill, Ohio on April 4, 1937 to the late Russell and Helen (Lynn) Weaver. He was married to Charlene Alcorn in 1975, and she preceded him in death on July 14, 2002. He was also preceded in death by one step daughter, Betty Byers.

Jeff is survived by one step son, John Byers; four step daughters, Kitty Huver, Wanda Barrows, Debbie Bowman, and Cindy Parish; two brothers and sister-in-law, John and Eva Weaver of Troy, George Weaver of Troy; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Anna and William Reed of Troy, and Pauline and Wesley Davis of Piqua; several step grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

Jeff was a former member of Redmen Lodge #222 of Troy. He was a retired Park Maintenance Man for the City of Dayton. For his hobbies, he loved fishing.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Todd Hoskins officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
