Darrin Eugene Lewis of Virginia and formally of Troy, OH passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018. He was born December 13, 1965 in Troy to Harold Hughes of Wapakoneta and the late Gwendolyn Lewis and he adored his mother! He was raised by his late Grandmother Maymie K. (Cicero)Godsey whom is also adored.

Darrin is survived by his son Darrin Lewis Jr of Houston, TX; brothers Christopher Hughes of Troy and Jeremy Hughes of Troy; sisters Dawnn Lewis of Virginia Beach, VA, Dominique (Travis)Bradford of Huntsville, AL, and Tionda Hughes of Dayton; uncle Larry Godsey; special aunts Cathy Crawford of Troy, Angela Godsey of Dayton, and Vivian Byrd Williams of Troy; as well as a host of cousins, aunts and special friends.; Ricky Godsey who was not only his Uncle but best friend. They had a one of a kind special bond!

Darrin was a 1985 graduate of Troy High School and a graduate of Ohio University with honors in Tele Communications.

A funeral service will be held 3:00PM Saturday December 22nd 2018 at Fisher Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Brian Hamilton officiating. Friends and family may call from 2:00PM-3:00PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
