DAVID EUGENE LOBENSTEIN of Albany, Ga, passed away at his home on March 20, 2023.  David was born Oct. 28, 1940 in Troy, Ohio and lived there until moving to Georgia in 2014.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Jackie (Arnett) Lobenstein.  They were married July 3, 1964.  He is also preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Margaret (Sullenberger) Lobenstein of Troy, Ohio, and a brother,  Doug Lobenstein.

David is survived by his 3 children:   Jennifer (Mike) Page of Albany, Ga, Steve (Lisa) Lobenstein of Florence, KY, and Michael (Joyce) Lobenstein of Greenville, OH; his 8 grandchildren:  Emily, Hannah, Amber, Olivia Lobenstein of Florence, KY, and Christian, Matthew, Samantha, and Aaron of Greenville, Oh; and 5 great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his caregiver and friend, Rhonda Hart of Albany, Ga.

David served in the Army before beginning a 35 year career working at Hobart Manufacturing in Troy.   He enjoyed photography, bowling, and fishing.

A funeral service will be held 11:30AM Monday, March 27, 2023 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Don Wells officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30AM-11:30AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
