Debra M. Fries, age 66 of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2021 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. She was born on April 25, 1955 in Zanesville, OH to Robert and Joy Smith of Tipp City, OH.

Including her parents, those left to cherish Debra's memory include her loving husband Mark Fries of Piqua; daughter Rebecca (Scott) Davis of Piqua, OH; sons Michael (April) Archer of Marion, OH and Robert (Tracey) Archer of Troy; sisters Tamara Smith of Piqua, OH, Terri Johnson of Piqua, OH, Keeley (Ken) Bristow of Troy and Billi Lamaster of Englewood, OH; brother Bob (Linda) Smith of Indiana; brother-in-law Paul Denney of Tipp City, OH; and 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her sister Pamela Denney.

Debra enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family, especially playing with her grandchildren. She also loved watching scary movies. She belonged to Life Ministry Church in Troy.

A funeral service will be held at 5:30 PM on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Workman officiating. A visitation will be held from 4-5:30PM at the funeral home. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
