Delores Gene Stafford, age 74 of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. She was born on December 10, 1946 to the late Earl and Gertrude (Cubic) Dillahunty.

She is survived by her husband, who she married on March of 1999, Clarence Stafford; sons, Reginald Dillahunty, Robert Elliot and Eugene Briggs all of Kansas City, MO, Clarence Stafford II of Sidney, OH and Aaron Stafford and his wife Tori of Piqua, OH; daughters, Gertrude Jones of Texas, Victoria Briggs and Parnie Briggs of Kansas City, MO, Joy Stafford of North Carolina, Velma Stafford of Oklahoma and Stacie Stafford of Troy; sister, Dianna Washington of Kansas City, MO; and 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Delores worked for many years as a nurse, retiring from Caldwell House in Troy. She belonged to Victory Deliverance Pentecostal Church in Troy. Delores loved spending time with her family and sewing in her free time.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
