Obituary

Dianna Gail Jones, age 77 of Casstown, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 in the Hospice Unit of Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born August 29, 1941 in Logan, West Virginia to the late Clarence and Cora (Webb) Davis.

Dianna is survived by her son, Rev. Dr. Brian Jones (Kelly) of Lancaster; three grandchildren, Benjamin Jones (Amy), Rachel Jones Keathley, and Rebekah Jones; three great-grandchildren, Sean Jones, Owen Jones, and Juliette Jones; three brothers, Richard Davis (Dorothy) of Tennessee, Charles Davis (Jeanie) of Dayton, and Philip Davis of West Virginia; as well as two sisters, Donna of West Virginia and Vera Craddock of West Virginia.

Dianna married Henry Clay Jones on December 24, 1959 and he preceded her in death on January 12, 2012. She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Dianna was a 1959 graduate of Chapmanville High School and attended First Baptist Church in Tipp City. She loved working in her yard and around the house but most of all she loved to spend time with her family and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:30AM Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. Dr. Brian Jones officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00AM-11:30AM at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will follow in Casstown Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to First Baptist Church: 6533 S. Tipp Cowlesville Rd., Tipp City, OH 45371.
