Don V. Billups, age 71 of Tipp City, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016 at his residence. He was born August 2, 1945 in Zion Ridge, KY to Averal and Esther (Adkins) Billups.

Don is survived by his mother Esther Billups of South Shore, KY; two daughters and son-in-law: Donna and Danny Neves of Huber Heights, and Christy Billups of Kettering; grandson Zacary Neves; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Kathy and Ronney Dillow of South Shore, KY, Leona and Monte Tarr of South Shore, KY, and Helen and William Haynes of Jerkyl Island, GA; as well as brother and sister-in-law Jimmy and Marilyn Billups of South Shore, KY.

He married Ella M. (Green) Billups on August 10, 1963 and she preceded him in death on September 2, 2016.

Don graduated from Greenup Kentucky High School and attended Sinclair Community College in Dayton for two years. He loved to hunt, go four-wheeling, trail riding, and caring for his family, and was the perfect father and best friend. He was an employee at the former Spectra Physics Laser Plane in Huber Heights for 43 years, and was also co-owner with his wife Ella of the former Practical Tools Machine Shop in Tipp City for 20 plus years.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
