Doris Lee Davis, age 94 of Troy, passed away 2:19PM Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Brookdale of Troy. She was born January 19, 1931 in Troy to the late William and Imogene (Masterson) Carey.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband Charles Ronald Davis on January 19, 2021; as well as son Terry Stockslager and sister Barbara Ely.

Those left to cherish Doris' memory include her grandchildren Katina "Tina" Kaffenberger (Tim) of Bennington, IN, Rob Stockslager (Chrissy) of Troy, Ethan Stockslager of Troy, and John Barker of Troy; step grandchildren Brooke Shafer and Taylor Shafer; great granddaughter Willow Barker; as well as brother William Carey of Dayton; and sisters Patty Evans of Troy, JoAnn Anderson of Troy, and Melody Lewis of Tipp City.

Doris worked for many years as a waitress and was a member of Troy Gospel Tabernacle.

A funeral service will be held 1:30PM Monday, August 4, 2025 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Rich Baker officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30PM-1:30PM at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
