Douglas Lynn Carver, age 51 of Troy, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 at his residence.  He was born July 28, 1965 in Troy, Ohio to the late Charles Clifford and JoAnn Lynn (Stewart) Carver.

Douglas is survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law: Gary Stewart of Troy; Charles, Jr. and Michelle Carver of Sayer, Pennsylvania; Richard and Bridget Carver of Beavercreek; one sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Craig Thuma of Troy; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was a retired laborer who loved fishing, bowling, and shooting pool.  He was a 1983 graduate of Miami East High School and a member of the Redmen Lodge #222 in Troy.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home in Troy with Craig Thuma officiating.  Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 30, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
