Douglas Michael Schwartz, age 65 of West Milton, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Kettering Health Care, Kettering. He was born May 5, 1957 at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Fairborn to the late Douglas and Lorelei (Emmons) Schwartz.

Those left to cherish Doug's memory include his wife Sandra "Sam" Schwartz; sons: Robert Schwartz of Tipp City and Joseph Schwartz of West Milton; daughter Rachael Schwartz (Keith Maggard) of Englewood; stepmother Leslie Schwartz of Troy; brothers Paul Schwartz (Janet) of Defiance and James "Jim" Schwartz (Jerri) of Troy; grandchildren: Kailey, Jordan, Mallory, and Sophia; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Doug was an aircraft mechanic trainer for PSA Airline for many years. He was a member of American Legion Post 43 in Troy.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00PM-7:00PM Sunday, October 9 at the American Legion Post 43: 622 S. Market St. Troy, OH 45377. A service by Mr. Robert Schwartz will be held at 5:00PM with dinner to follow.
