Elaine "GiGi" Smith Massie, age 93 of Troy, passed away 11:02AM Saturday, February 24, 2024 at her residence. She was born July 5, 1930 in Frankfort, KY to the late Foster and Fannie (Duvall) Smith.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Those left to cherish GiGi's memory include her husband John Massie, whom she married December 24, 1951; daughter Johnna Massie of Troy; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild; as well as several nieces and nephews.

GiGi was a high school graduate in Kentucky and attended college for two years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Troy and retired with Knoderer chiropractic where she worked as an assistant and x-ray tech.

A celebration of life and fellowship will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 11:30AM-2:00PM at First Baptist Church, Troy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to First Baptist Church or Hospice of Miami County. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
