Estrellita "Ester" Regina Hocker, age 64 of Troy, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023. She was born July 7, 1958 in Dayton to the late Claude Jones and Corina "Mica" (Jalamillo) Guess.

Along with her parents, Ester was preceded in death by her stepfather Hubert Guess.

Those left to cherish Ester's memory include her partner of 27 years Mary Ferguson of Troy; daughters Ninya Denise of Sidney and Nicole Cupps (Jim) of St. Paris; sisters Linda Lasater (Dan) of Little Rock, AR and Mica Elleman (Fritz) of Gaithersburg, MD; three grandchildren Allysa, Matthew, and Skyler, and a great-granddaughter on the way, Lainee.

Ester was a 1976 graduate of Northmont High School. She enjoyed crocheting and camping and was an excellent cook. She was a member of the Troy Eagles Auxiliary #971 and the Pocahontas Lodge in Troy. Ester was a former member of Troy Elks #833 where she also worked and retired as a cook.

A celebration of Life will be held at the Troy Eagles #971 on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 12:30PM-4:00PM.
